He is. Caught up with him and Jeff at CAEX this year. Also Ben and Patrick. All swell, softspoken guys in person and naturally nobody keeps their camera face on.
If I go to PAX Prime next year I expect they will be more switched on, but it was nice to just stand around and talk about pinball. Passing other duders who wore or recognized my GB attire was great too.
For users, I don't honestly want to go to a meetup and exchange board handles. I want to meet the duders behind the anonymity. If we're standing in line or sitting at a bar someone's post count and their wiki points don't count for shit. Well, maybe they account for a monitor tan, but whatever. ;)

I hung around the lobby outside their PAX panel this year before the "show" and Jeff was just standing around talking to random dudes and seemed totally affable and not at all "switched on", so maybe, maybe not.

That topic was indeed properly locked, especially with its completely nonsensical start (which isn't saved by the rationale). Enough yammering on about it.
Back on topic, I don't really have anyone in specific I'd want to meet, at least not that I'd be able to admit. It's just fun to be able to see fellow Giant Bomb chaps at places like PAX East/Prime, especially dudes like Matt Pascual, Dave Snider, and Drew Scanlon. EDIT: And the other mods like Marino, Phil/Wafflestomp, and so on. There's too many people I can easily forget here, which probably makes me sound like an asshole.
I guess I haven't really had much of a chat with Vinny or Brad yet, though...I'll have to see if I can't change that at a future PAX.
Not sure why anyone would want to meet me. Well, I do have candy and video games.
I would like to meet Video_Game_King, so I could slap him around until he admits he's from earth and not the moon. Staff would be Dave, he seems like a cool dude.
