Never have preordered. I live in Delaware, don't generally run out but I've been to plenty of midnight releases.
What was the last game you preordered?

^ This. The collectors edition.
I pre-ordered Skyrim and Lord of the RIngs: War in the North at around the same time. Haven't pre-ordered a game since then. I don't really see the point in pre-ordering things anymore. The bonuses are usually crap. Just my opinion. These sentences are short. I'm done now. Really.
Batman: Arkham City. I traded my 360 version of LA Noire to decrease the pre order price at EB Games and also because I already had the PS3 version of it.
Borderlands 2, X-COM and Hitman. The place I get most of my games is usually the cheapest and more often than not get the game a few days earlier that the release date. Which is always nice.
Hellgate: London.
I think that, and Guild Wars were the only games that I have ever pre-ordered. But I may be forgetting something.
I pre-ordered both Borderlands 2 and XCOM: Enemy Unknown today.
Mass Effect 3 and SSX on the same day through Game, needless to day i ended up losing both preorders after the whole going out of business debacle, the last game i preordered and actually received though minus the upgrade to the signature edition(thanks Game, wonder why it got so bad for you) was Dragon Age 2.
Did Borderlands 2 and Assassins Creed 3 at the same time because the internet is the future. But I'll also forget when they actually come out.
Two at the same time, actually. Darksiders II, which is coming out later today in Europe, and Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.
Torchlight 2 cause i had a nice price reduction. And Dishonored which also had a little discount. Otherwise i don't pre-order if there is nothing to gain price wise.

Honestly, I can't remember. It had to have been like 4 years ago though. I didn't even preorder anything when I worked at GameStop. I never really saw the point even though it was my job to convince people otherwise.
I pre-ordered World of Warcraft, and when I went to pick it up at launch day, the clerk turned away all that didn't pre-order. The shelf behind him was stacked with WoW copies, yet all of them was pre-ordered already.
I usually don't pre-order, mostly because the pre-order bonuses you get are often just rubbish, and I prefer reading at least a few reviews before I put my money down. But Darksiders II is coming out in 8 hours on Steam in Europe, so I was able to read the reviews last week for the US version, and then pre-order it, and still get the bonuses, which are decent for this game.
The last game I preordered was Torchlight 2. The game is cheap enough that plunking down that $20 ahead of time was not too off-putting for me. Plus I got Torchlight 1 for free, and I already have had a blast beating that. Before that? oh sheesh, I think it might have been Half-Life 2.

Sleeping dogs because it was cheaper. How often I preorder? like once a year.
Sleeping Dogs was the last game I pre-ordered as well - the TF2 junk was what pushed me over.
I also pre-order maybe once a year.
Too Human, and I didn't even get my preorder bonus.
