Where my Invert-ebrates at?

My name is AdSapien and I invert my Y-axis.  There is nothing wrong with making things right.  If you are an Invert-ebrate like me post here and I will welcome you with an open hand, if you are intolerant I will meet you with a closed fist.

You people are crazy.

My brain likes to think of the joystick as well a goddamn stick.  So when the top goes down, the bottom goes up and so does my screen view.

PC games though?  Those are truly the crazy people in this war.

you know i did, bought perfect dark and defaulted it. Came back to halo 3 a week later, now i'm default. What the hell?

Inverted controls on FPS games just seem wrong to me.

I think the reasoning for why some people like inverted and others don't, is that some feel they are controlling the back of their characters head, others the front.
Either way, all of you Invert-ebrates must buuuuuuurn.

How does one...invert? I mean how does one trick their mind to see the controller as something else, and what is it...the eyes...head?

I always thought of the joystick as a camera. When you push the back end down, the lens pivots up, thus making the view shift up. That's the only way I know how to explain why I invert. But I think old console FPS's defaulted to inverted controls, so I just got used to them I guess...
