Clover. And Free Radical, even though they're Crytek UK now.

Sega AM1 and AM7. Some of the most memorable games of the 90s came from them. They still kinda exist but not really in a recognizable form.

Im not sure I have an answer for this most of my favorite developers are still around although I suppose that I might like GRIN to be around out of sheer curiosity as to what they would have been working on.

Absolutely. I would never call Mercs 2 good I just thought there was a lot of fun to be had in it despite it's issues - and yes, it certainly was no Saboteur.

Never understood the bad rep The Saboteur got. Such an awesome game...that I didn't finish either now that I think of it. I honestly think I'm gonna put Hitman: Absolution down and finish it...not sure if that says more about Absolution or The Saboteur.

Ensemble Studios, no doubt, I was sad at the end of Halo Wars. I love the Age of Empires games!

I'd rescue Chair from their Infinity Blade hole. Or revive their predecessor to finish up Advent Rising.

Bizarre Creations and Rare. I would love some more PGR, but I want the Stamper brothers back at Rare and free from Microsoft. The studio is a shell of it's former self.

Pandemic. Mercenaries is still one of the best open world games out there, and Saboteur was fun as hell.

LOL that was the first jest i had in mind when i read this thread. bioware, when concerning whats happened to neverwinter nights, and dragon age. mass effect was great for what it was, but i would love for them to put some mass resources and time and effort and skills and craftsmanship into a truly grand neverwinter nights 3. with every thing that is needed for that game to last 10 years. it would be the truest and greatest day of all .

also i would say , BLIZZARD. because they havent made a great game since starcraft brood war.

Both Monolith Productions and Raven Software speak to me. While neither of them are dead, they might as well be. They are being pushed around by their owners to make games that are not within their expertise. It's rather awful.

I also want to mention Midway. Not everything they did was gold but I think they usually made really fun games. They had a good streak there a while back with games like Psi-Ops, Area 51 and The Suffering.

Neversoft makes me a little sad, even though I didn't think their games were very good. I still think they were a good developer, just with a terrible overlord.
