Westwood made an awful lot of interesting games, I'd have them back.
Yes, I remember Nox (apart the famous C&C series) being a real good action RPG Diablo style. :)
Bladerunner is also exceptional.

Oh god please D: Neverwinter Nights: AMAZING. Mass Effect 1: AMAZING. Dragon Age: Origins: AMAZING. Oh how the mighty have fallen :(
And actually, Pandemic, because I want a goddamn next generation Battlefront game.
Just bring back John Romero and Tom Hall to Id software, and make them put out a new Commander Keen game.

I would bring back Pandemic. The Saboteur is one of my all time favorites and I really want a sequel done by the same people that made the first. Another team might not get the feeling right. I hope a new Star Wars: Battlefront is made by anyone though because it could be great.
I'm with you. I feel like they got a bit of a bum rap. I feel like both Mercs 2 (mediocre game that got bad reviews) and The Saboteur (AWESOME game that got mediocre reviews) got a little shafted and the company crumbled shortly after.
I never did beat The Saboteur (got too hooked on the ambient challenges) might go pop that thing in again tonight :)
Mercs 2 was OK , i had a lot of dumb fin with it but the saboteur was a masterpiece by comparison
Absolutely. I would never call Mercs 2 good I just thought there was a lot of fun to be had in it despite it's issues - and yes, it certainly was no Saboteur.
Bullfrog and Rare. I would love to see a new Dungeon Keeper game and I would die for another Banjo game.

Never understood the bad rep The Saboteur got. Such an awesome game...that I didn't finish either now that I think of it. I honestly think I'm gonna put Hitman: Absolution down and finish it...not sure if that says more about Absolution or The Saboteur.
Nice to see Looking Glass getting mad love.
Apogee (undisputed rulers of the Shareware - or are they just id now?) and New World Motherfucking Computing. Get me some of that Heroes action, please.

LOL that was the first jest i had in mind when i read this thread. bioware, when concerning whats happened to neverwinter nights, and dragon age. mass effect was great for what it was, but i would love for them to put some mass resources and time and effort and skills and craftsmanship into a truly grand neverwinter nights 3. with every thing that is needed for that game to last 10 years. it would be the truest and greatest day of all .
also i would say , BLIZZARD. because they havent made a great game since starcraft brood war.
also, NINTENDO. for obvious reasons.
Both Monolith Productions and Raven Software speak to me. While neither of them are dead, they might as well be. They are being pushed around by their owners to make games that are not within their expertise. It's rather awful.
I also want to mention Midway. Not everything they did was gold but I think they usually made really fun games. They had a good streak there a while back with games like Psi-Ops, Area 51 and The Suffering.
Neversoft makes me a little sad, even though I didn't think their games were very good. I still think they were a good developer, just with a terrible overlord.
