Alpha Protocol. God I enjoyed that game.
Which of these Giant Bomb Three Star Rated Games Would You Most Like to See a Sequel To?
I choose none of these. I don't think a sequel would appeal to me for any of them--not because I only play 5 star games, which I clearly don't--but none of these feel compelling enough to warrant a sequel. My own opinion, though. I think they would do moderately okay if given a second installment, but I don't think they need to carry on the franchises, just the ideas that worked.
" @gabha: Are you talking about Mercenaries 2: World in Flames? I was only choosing brand new franchises, and obviously World in Flames was a sequel to Mercs 1. Mercs 1 was actually quite well acclaimed, so that was a franchise that actually went backwards. Anyway, Pandemic is no longer with us, with is the exact reason why I excluded The Saboteur from this list. Shame, because I really liked The Saboteur. "The Saboteur 2 or Saboteur style 2 would have been great.
I loved it so much. Yet it was so broken.
I rather enjoyed Viking. With a little more work, it could be a very good game. I enjoyed Mirror's Edge enough, but I've had quite enough of the First Person Parkour thing that it did. Brutal Legend 2 would inevitably be a let-down, since the team behind the original is under the impression that everyone is "playing it wrong". Too Human was a train wreck. The rest of these games I haven't played enough to form an opinion on.
I think Dark Void was a great concept and was actually fun once you got the jet pack but quite a lot of the game is just a boring ass 3rd Person cover based shooter.
