Why do people hate the MvC2 Soundtrack?

There seems to be all people out there you really hate OST for MvC2. Why? I enjoy the jazzy music the gave this game. Do you feel that music doesn't fit the game properly? whats your justification?

How many actual enjoy the OST?

It doesn't fit with the frantic action at all, but after sinking hours upon hours on it on the Dreamcast, I must admit it grows on you.

The reason I hate the soundtrack in MvC 2 is because the soundtrack of the original MvC was loads better.

For example, it's awesome when one of your guys die then Strider hops in as the Strider theme song plays in the background.

Because it's terrible, but in an awesome way.

I liked it, the nice calming jazzy music was a nice change from all the frantic action that seemed appropriate for leading up to the fight and the music after the fight. During the fight however, I wanted something harder.
