Why Don't Secret Achievements Appear?

I'm loving the new achievement posting system on the site. However, something has me puzzled. Why don't secret achievements appear? I'm guessing this has something to do with the syncing with the Live database but it would be nice to be able to see what they are. Sometimes I forget what super secret awesome achievements I've gotten on games I haven't played in months or years.

Because, as you said, it's probably pulling from the Live database. If you ever compare games with a friend and don't have the secret achievements, you get the same thing. No way around it, I'd guess, unless they manually changed everything. But whatever I'm not entirely sure how it works.

They don't show up because they're secret. Sometimes the description gives away part of the story.

True, but it'd be nice if you could click on them to see what they are. I suppose it's just not possible though.
