Is he still working for Giantbomb? Is there a blog post about any of this or something in a video? Sorry, I know I have not been on as much as I really should, am like 2-3 weeks behind on Bombcasts, ect... just no time in the recent past.

The hell? People load up all that shit on a hotdog? Two options for a correct hotdog, a condiment (ketsup, mustard, etc.) or a chillydog.

@wickedcobra03: He's still working but, he won't be at the office.

Yeah he's still in the San Francisco office for now (I think till the end of the month?) but then he will be moving back to Chicago. He will still be with giantbomb (like Alex) except we obviously won't be seeing as much of him in quicklooks or podcasts.

I'm actually thinking of making my own video tribute to him, but one major technical problem is in my way.

@video_game_king: The standard NTSC frame rate is just below 30, and a lot of video encoders still use it. You could possibly try using Handbrake to get the video into a format that works, or maybe get some better video editing software.

Don't knock it 'till you try it, gentlemen. Unless, of course, you've tried it - in which case you're wrong. That is the only true hotdog.

Fun fact: the whole reason vendors came up with condiments was to hide the taste of the old meat they were using.

I'd like to, but the free options are ridiculously limited. The one I'm using doesn't even have a built in text editor (I've found that creating the text as an image and working with that works just fine, though).

Nice! I like the blue/gray color scheme for the background of the original a bit better, but that won't stop me from Scoopifyin' my desktop.

I'm no video expert, but have you tried playing with Bandicam? Or even (I know it sucks!) Windows Movie Maker?

Wikipedia's telling me that Bandicam's more video capture than editing, and Hypercam 2 is fulfilling that need quite well already.
