Since E3 is around the corner, I would like to see what you guys think are the worst moments of E3?

I would have to say when Jamie Kennedy was the host of Activision's set of 2007 E3. After reading a Cracked.com article, it reminded me of how idiotic Jamie Kennedy was towards the crowd, and just didn't know what the fuck to do on the stage. Then he lashes at people on twitter calling them Dorks, virgins, nerds, and saying that he is famous and better then anyone who criticizes him. Talk about a Dick!

So what do you think is the worst E3 moment?

Edit: Video of this if you forgot.

I've only been watching E3 since 2009, and while I will always remember the Bam There It Is and Mr. Caffeine fiascos, I don't really consider them bad moments.
If I wanna think bad, I think of Microsoft's shows, trying real hard to turn gaming into a family friendly past time.

Ubisoft's press conference with James Cameron, I had been looking forward to it all night to see the new Assassin's Creed but it ended up being one of the most boring things I had ever seen.

Last year's was the only one I have ever really sat down and watched, and Microsoft's conference was fucking balls bad. Nintendo's was pretty shitty too, but god fucking damn if I didn't lose my shit when they announced it was called the fucking WiiU.

If you don't think Jamie Kennedy hosting the Activision conference is the worst moment of E3, then you're out of your mind.

I would go with the Killzone 2 cgi trailer, and the flame wars that started. I always have dislike cgi trailers, and what makes them worst, is that they often win awards that they shouldn't. After the Killzone 2 trailer was released, a big debate (well, it wasn't much of a debate as much as it was a lot of trolls, and hate running wild) happen online about if the trailer was in-game footage (gameplay) or cgi.

So yeah... this is one of the main reasons why i try to avoid the forums during E3, too many fanboys, and not enough discussions.

I have to agree, I hated Microsoft's conference last year. It was painful to watch the majority of it.

Wow! How did I not remember Jamie Kennedy hosting Activision's conference?!?!?

Sonys E3 Show where they were announcing the Vita, everything looked good until they said it had 3g through At&t.

Although thinking about Sonys press conference just makes me think of that great speech Keven Buttler gave.

Yeah, it was fun, well, it was fun on the system wars forums on GS... it seem like for every fanboy you nail (told off?... prove a point against) 4 more would take it's place... I spent so much time and effort on such a pointless topic.

Sony 2006, Nintendo 2008, and Microsoft 2010 press conferences were all pretty awful, but nothing compares to the E3 birth of Mr. Caffeine.

Leigh Alexander is the worst E3 moment. You know what? Drunk Leigh Alexander isn't the worst E3 moment ever, she is just the worst. I hope she is banned from this years E3 podcasts, and if she is there, I hope she is sober.

Sadly, that wasn't his first time at E3. That dude was hired by Ubisoft as far back as 2003. He spent all three days of the show shouting at people and hyping up Prince of Persia games. In 2006, they had him doing it for Splinter Cell Double Agent.

So, I can tell you from years of personal experience, that dude has always been annoying and cringe worthy.

Found him! I knew I had to have caught him in one of my pictures over the years. Even if it was just barely. This is from E3 2005, which was for Prince of Persia: Two Thrones.

E3 is filled of bad moments as too many devs and publishers try overly hard to sell their products and fill it up with cringeworthy celebrity appearances and painful presentations.

I stay away from the presentations now for the most part and just check an RSS feed to spot news I might be interested in, I'll sometimes watch some gameplay footage...muted.

Edit: and the introduction of the Kinect, Move and Wii made E3 10x worse because those presentations are just ridiculous.

I am surprised no one has mentioned the moment when Sony announced that AT&T; would be providing coverage for the Vita. I lost it when the crowd reacted, then Kaz reacted with a disappointed look. I totallly paused the show, and rewatched over and over.

Microsoft hasn't had a good or even interesting E3 press conference in half a decade. These last two years were especially horrendous with the Razzie-worthy actors playing terrible Kinect games & making horrible jokes about playing the Last Airbender game for achievement points.

c'mon, the 2009 conference was really good.

I hope Ubisoft brings Mr. Caffeine back this year. The guy was an ass but my friends and I couldn't stop laughing at him whenever he showed up. The fact that he was so committed to the Wayne's World bit for the entire thing only made it that much better.

I mean really, that guy clearly gave no fuck. I admired his effort.

The 2009 natal fake videos were the most frustrated I've ever been looking at e3 stuff.  Not because of how fake/conceptual it all was, but because of how everyone reacted to it.  You guys actually believed in skateboard scanning and Milo.  What's worse is you actually wanted to play it.

That stuff was awful and I had to wait a whole year for the 2010 e3 before people started making fun of kinect properly.

The "worst" moments are the secret best moments. The boring moments are the actual worst moments.
