Would you give up your taste buds to eat healthy forever and never have to watch what you eat again?
Yes, I would gladly give up one of the few parts of my life that consistently makes me feel good, so that I could theoretically live longer and spend more time being miserable about how I can't enjoy a good meal anymore.
That's like saying would you cut off your genitals so you never get an STD.
For the record everyone, that doesn't work.

Whoops...
@demoskinos: Im the same way, i'v put on 10 pounds in the last 6 years, im up to a whole 140.
Just eat half the portions! That way, it's half the calories, so you can eat twice as much.
This is the correct answer

People do eat pretty ridiculous portions I find. I don't know how most people can even fit a full course meal in their stomach.
Fuck no! As a result of becoming healthier I'd likely lose weight and stop being chubby, and on top of that I'd also stop being able to taste food?!
That sounds like two negatives to me.
Edit: Also, a world where everybody is at a healthy weight sounds horrible to me. There would be less variation between people, and everything would be just a little more boring. Variety is the spice of life.
