Xbox controls for RE5 are sketchy

If the DS3 feels better for a shooter, that should say something about what kind of shooter this is.  The controls are sketchy period.  And have been.  Even though RE4 was great, the controls were still behind the curve, and RE5 is gonna be even further behind because it looks like they didnt make much progress.  They announced this game so long ago, I dont get why it took so long to come out if they didnt make the gameplay better, just more of the same.

I agree. I actually just played the demo, after defending the game last night when someone new to the series was bashing the controls. Man... it really does feel dated. It's hard for me to believe that RE4 actually played the same way. There's plenty of control options in the game, but none of them offered the controls I would have liked. I'd want the controls to be mapped more closely to RE4 on Gamecube.

My biggest complaint is the knife. It's so awkward to use.

I know itll be my loss and yadda yadda but I am simply not going to buy, or play this game with these controls.
