Hey folks-

I'm in the mood for an older RPG, one I can purchase from the Virtual Console. I already have Super Mario RPG. If you have any specific recommendations, please let me know. I use the term RPG, but you can be loose with that definition.

ah man, Super Mario RPG is perhaps the BEST RPG EVARS /fanboy

But seriously, I remember something about a final fantasy title being on the WiiWare service..... "My Life as a King" I'm not sure about it's quality, but I'd give it a look at the very least.

Get Star Tropics, it's a little known gem of game which in some ways actually betters LoZ.

But it's worse in many more. The controls are incredibly slippery, and the exploration is definitely limited.

I found them to be OK, but admitedly it did take a while to get use to them.

The game has great witty writing, something that the Gamecube game lacked to the same degree. The N64 game is the best imo.
