Just listening to the bombcast and stuff, apparently a big difference between the culture?
I know north is apprently more developed than the south...
Difference between East and West coast? (non-American)
" @Plasma: The North East and the west coast are probably the least religious and the most liberal areas of the United States. The South is more religious and conservative than the other parts of the country and the majority of people in the military are from the south. The mid-west is less populated than the North and South and less developed."
I'd like to see some proof of these generalizations. The religious part I can believe partly, but the military aspect I don't. I'm not saying your wrong, but I would like some sort of evidence of these statements.
" @Plasma said:" @Wolverine said:What are the differences between the North and South in the UK? "" @Plasma: Just curious but where do you live? "Im from the UK, where only the southen northern differences are known... well to me anyway. "
And to the south, they're northern monkeys.
That’s sorta the stereotype, opposite to USA, the South is more 'civilised' while the north is hardy and physical.
Unlike USA, they're both the same really.
" @Wolverine said:So Liverpool is in the North while Manchester and London are in the south? Also where is York and Blackpool?" @Plasma said:" @Wolverine said:What are the differences between the North and South in the UK? "" @Plasma: Just curious but where do you live? Liverpool and Manchester are both north in England but in the middle of the UK.
East coast here. Never been to the West coast, but I've been up and down the East.
Things I've personally noticed are often times very different stores, different costs of living (houses cost WAY more on the West coast unless you live in a city on the East), different job opportunities (the East kind of sucks for IT jobs compared to the West), politics (West coast does seem more liberal, except for New England area). More Asians on the West coast, TONS of Hispanic around here, different food, different music...
