CDs are still relevant because nowhere is offering FLAC downloads of albums yet. I bought Run-DMC greatest hits and Straight Outta Compton by N.W.A for cheap on CD because I don't think it's even possible to buy it in FLAC. (and FLAC music can be hard to pirate depending on the obscurity of the band)

I think the last CD I bought was either You are Underwater by The Main Drag or The Valley by Eisley.

I used to be an audio snob and went "CD all the way man" until I had to move and my CD collection was one of the worst thing to move.

Hah. Think CDs are bad, try moving a damn vinyl collection. It's not even the size of the things, they are heavier than they look when you've got 40 or 50 of them in one box. And then the speakers, & amp, & the deck itself are all hefty things too, or at least mine are as it's all my dads kit which he got in the late 70s.

If you want FLAC downloads so badly, @Sooty , I can hook you up with a Demonoid tracker invite.

Either Jenny Owen Youngs' "An Unwavering Band Of Light" or Sara Bareilles' "Kaleidoscope Heart." Motion City Soundtrack's "GO" is out in two weeks so that'd be my next buy.

I saw the Office Space soundtrack at goodwill, so I kinda had to.

I bought Torches by Foster the People for my little sister this past Christmas. Last one I bought for myself was probably Come Clarity by In Flames years and years ago. i still like that cover art.

It was an Old Skool Jungle 2 CD set I got last year. It was the last CD's I purchased before that I haven't purchased a CD in over a decade almost. Everything I get now is from Amazon MP3's.

My Twisted Dark Fantasy, no idea why I bought this CD instead of downloading it.

Last CD i bought was in 2008, A Sense of Purpose by Swedish metal band In Flames.

@sooty: This. After you have a taste of good quality FLAC, there's no turning back to mp3's.

Tool's 10,000 Days. In 2006. Every music purchase since has been through iTunes.

And it is still in the disc drive in my car.

I wanna say that it was Static X-Cannibal, I honestly can't remember it has been so long. But that feels like the most recent CD I have. I did buy an MP3 album of Arcade Fire and Mastodon a while back though.

Rhythm and Repose by Glen Hansard. I was hanging out at a Barnes and Noble with a friend and felt that I had to buy something.

I immediately ripped it and haven't opened the case since.
