" If you like high school you're part of the problem. "haha :P
Do/Did you like High school?
It was okay except for the fact that it was built over a Hell Mouth and quite few of my fellow classmates were brutally murdered. Though I did like how our school library had quite an extensive collection of material on the occult.
I enjoyed it and still very good friends with people from high school. University was waaay better though
High school was pretty cool experience for me. I'm British but I lived in California during my high school years, The girls there really seem to like guys with accents.
Anyone who out-and-out hated High School is no better (and I would say worse since they're overly dramatizing their lives) than someone who says they loved it.
I enjoyed enough of my time there to say that I liked it, but it's not like it was awesome or anything.
No I hate this shit. Can't wait to get out. I get by by playing video games and painting otherwise this whole thing would be way too much. Not the work or anything, just the stupid people and their stupid Gucci shoes and such. Give me a pair of dirty Rabens any day.

Cause and effect?" I really don't wanna sound like an asshole but I think most people on here would say no because they played a lot of video games in hs and didn't have the best social lives. "
Cause: Social life
Effect: Turning to video games
It's not the opposite, at least not for me.

- No friends.
- People around me are borderline xenophobic and are racist.
- I have to deal with a lot of the racism because only 4 people in the whole school, including me, are of my skin color.
- Made fun of even more because of self-isolation as a means to psychologically protect myself.
- Some teachers can be very incompetent and idiotic.
- I've had to deal with this my whole time at high school.
Yeah, I'm sure I'm just being a drama queen when I say that I hate it.
Not the actual school part. School is school, which was never something that really enthralled me, save for a few select subjects. But that period of my life overall was a blast. You don't realize how easy and care-free your high school days are until after when you're trying to finish college, or are grinding it out with a career. It also goes by extremely fast. I remember being a freshman and thinking how four years sounded like forever.
There are a few people that I met in high school with whom I'm still close friends to this day (I'm now 26).
i got picked on a lot. and the no-tolerance for fighting thing made it impossible for me to retaliate and graduate. so i had to just suck it up and take it. produced some psychological issues later on in life, but i got through it. thank God.
Here are some facts about my high school:
- If you don't play sports, not many people will like you
- If you aren't an attractive girl, not many people will like you
- If you do well in school and get good grades, not many people will like you
- In a lot of my classes people wanted to copy off my papers because they were too stupid and lazy to do the work themselves.
- If you don't have six pack abs, you are fat and will get teased in PE class
Maybe I just have a horrible high school. Let me know if any of this applies to your high schools.
I hated high school, mostly because it was boring. I went to a redneck high school and that didn't make it that much fun either. I know this is generic to say, but I felt I was a bit too mature for high school. I never went out and partied, and the classes where pretty easy. I did however absolutely love undergrad.
