favorite steam indie game?

I love beat hazard. Its like going to a laser light show of your favorite band/song. I'd recommend playing Three inches of blood and just hold down the fire button for a truly amazing light show. There is a good chance you will be seeing many different colors after playing for an extended time though so watch out for that.

Its very hard to pick just one, they make up the majority of my steam library. I have currently been playing a lot of Gratuitous Space Battles. Its addicting trying to make the perfect ship for your fleet, and set everything up just right for a sure victory.

It's a toss-up between Braid (what a well-executed game), Machinarium (still my gold standard for adventure games), and Aquaria (should probably be my gold standard for Metroidvanias).

For now, I think my vote goes to Sequence.

I really dug Dear Esther. It's super short, but it is digital art in every way. It evokes so many emotions and left a great impression on me.

World of Goo remains my favorite indie game this generation. But I'll give VVVVVV, Braid, and Terraria honorable mentions.

Cave Story+

The Binding of Isaac is probably my favorite. I also really like Super Meat Boy, Braid, and Limbo but I played those on the 360.

Looking at the time spent on Steam, probably going with Dungeons of Dredmor for this.
