I appreciate that Kif consists of fluid-filled bladders, and it deeply amuses me that Zoidberg's limbs are apparently hollow. 
 
Incidentally, it goes like this:
 
Futurama > Simpsons > South Park = Family Guy
 
But that's not saying much, I'd rather be punched in the face than watch either of those last two shows.

Well, yeah. You can't say things like "Oh this new episode will be mediocre at best, BUT YOU ALL MUST WATCH IT!".
Marketing tricks aside, I've always loved futurama. Fry is the nextgen Homer for me.

Matt Groening thinks that the Simpsons is funnier than its ever been when it hasn't been funny in a decade plus.
Didn't really like any of the movies they released and don't think bringing it back was a good idea since it ended pretty perfectly. I hope I'm  wrong and they'll be able to return to the same form they had in the original run of Futurama but I'd have my doubts.

The Simpsons still owns all, if you disagree you are a fool. Can't wait for a futurama return, judging by the movies the magic is still there.

@Hitchenson:  The newer stuff is pretty hit and miss, what I was trying to say is that if you take the series as a whole the Simpsons is by far the best. Futurama is a close second though.

I agree Futurama has like nothing in common with South Park. It's only really kind of close to the simpsons.
 
I didn't like Futurama towards the end. It wasn't really as funny as it was depressing and weird. The Beast With A Billion Backs was like a freaky old-school scifi film.

I'm skeptical about this resurrection of the show but I'll more than likely end up watching it. Saw all those direct to DVD movies, even when they stopped being good (Bender's Game was where it went off the rails for me).

I'm really fucking excited for this, though at the same time timid to accept the return of Futurama as the animation revelation everyone has wanted since it got cancelled simply because it has been so long. I still watch reruns of old Futurama, but it is more than likely that the magic may be gone. 
 
On a completely unrelated note, what the fuck is Augenblick doing? Fuckin' no more Ugly Americans until October, no fucking sign of Super Jail. God damn.
