Girlfriend Drew Snake, Arthur, Phoenix, and A Turtle...Marry Me!

Sup fools,

Been busy at the fine establishment of military language school. Fun fact, it's fucking hard. It's 4 years of college in about 50 weeks and you don't have a choice but to score at least 89% at all times. Even then graduation isn't promised. When there's a brick wall you slam through it breaking every bone because there's another wall behind that to break down. Already in my class a few military are dangerously close to losing everything they worked hard for...and the crazy part is they already spent half a year in this program.

So to ease the pain, my wonderful, and beautiful girlfriend has been drawing me pictures. I figure I share them and ask what you guys then of my future wife's artist skills. She says she's horrible but I don't think so.

I know who I want to spend the rest of my life with, and it's an amazing feeling. She says when the time is right I'm not allowed to spend more than $300 on the engagement ring because she's always had to be safe with money and that money is better spent on our children's savings. But little does she know my plan is to go to a jeweler in the Middle East to get her a custom made ring because no amount of money is good enough to say I love you enough. I think I'll propose in the coming months. Gotta do it a the beach too!

So, aside from the first try Snake picture...I think she's wonderful at it. What say you lot?

Hah, I wish I was a kid again. Adult life sucks at times. She's a teacher and brought up Arthur a few days back so we watched them together.

The art may be better than my own (maybe), but it kind of looks like a mildly artistic art student from junior high drew those pictures (except for maybe the Phoenix picture which is nicely detailed). It doesn't matter though, it seems she did this out of pure love, and that's all that really matters. You asked. Also, Solid Snake's face looks somewhat reminiscent of Chuck Norris's for some reason.

Arthur is some sick shit. right after magic school bus. It has been a really long time since i even stumbled on an episode... if i did i would watch.

nice pics tho. if you want, you could draw an image of spencer from bionic commando or better yet a picture of you with a bionic arm with an arrow pointing to it with the name of your girl there, and then explain the wife-arm thing. She will be confused since that bionic commando twist was messed up, then point to something behind her, potentially something in the water (if at beach) and scream some military speak. When she looks away, get on ur knees and have the ring out. then say "you always be my wife arm in my heart, marry me."

Why does Snake have a nose like Donald Glover's in that picture?

Arthur was my favorite show as a kid, along with Batman and Magic School Bus. Johnny Quest, Thundercats and TMNT, too.

She's good but she should capitalise the A in her name.

Just my two cents: I'm sure she knows you love her, and I'm sure she would never think of you less because you bought a less expensive engagement ring. If I were you I'd save the money like she advised, or maybe save it up for some trip with her, but hey! Do whatever you want to do.

I also like her drawings. They aren't the best I've seen (I know I sound like a prick right now but a few of my friends are reeeeeeally good at drawing, don't take it personally), but she's definitely going to be amazing if she practices.

Just an idea: maybe you could spend the money you'd spend on a better ring on a professional drawing course for her? Think which one she'd appreciate more!

pretty good drawings. you need to find something better to watch than arthur.

Her Arthur drawing is the best one. It's very good.
