yea that speed test site i had a download speed of 59mbps, and i'm using my college internet. normally on steam i'll download at like 200kbps at college

Those are some crazy speeds. Are some of these at work? Cause here I'm clocking 94.91 D and 71.89 U. At home when I clocked it when I first got Fios it was 36 U and about 16 D I believe. Perfectly happy with it.

All the providers here do this. If you complain they bump your speed for about a week then drop it again. It's either get ripped off or have no internet. The only trustworthy provider doesn't operate in our area :/ We'll have to look into it again once our contracts up.

I get 5.0 Mbps on a good day. I can't even imagine how nice it must be to have 25 Mbps, let alone 50.

I get 200 kb/s on downloads, 20 kb/s on uploads, it's ridiculous

Not fast at all. Everybody in town has the same local isp (I'm guessing because of contract horseshit), and of course it's cable so we all share it on this old infrastructure. I'M PISSED

I recently switched to a plan that has more safari and less track. It's snappy!

Not long had my internet upgraded. was on about 4.5mbps but now on around 40mpbs.

I download at around 3.0mb/s-4.0mb/s depending on the service. Uploading, generally around the 435kb/s mark, depending on what I'm seeding.

Wow, it says my internet is 70% faster than the rest of U.S....and mine is pretty slow. 20 download and 2.2 upload. 13 ping.

Let's put it this way. It took me 9-1/2 hours to reinstall Skyrim last week and 15 hours to install Mass Effect from Steam. This is why I don't think the US infrastructure is ready for download-only consoles.

Gets the job done, although looking at folks here, it feels like my internet is really super slow.

That being said, I never felt the need to upgrade my connection. I don't really download anything, and for games, this is good enough. So, no complaints here.

This is running the cheapest Fibre I can get here in St.John's NL. It's plenty fast enough for the 4 people I have here in the house.
