so obviously everyone here thinks this website is ba. which it is. because i honesltly havnt gone to ign or gamespot since i discovered this wonderful place. however i also notice that this website has INCREDIBLE sucess at using techniques to get people to come like it and stick around. and to the point.....THIS SIGHT IS GENIUS. like for real. theres huge money being payed to people to figure out how to do what this sight does from a couple people! i am in a band called audiorocket and i want to use this sight to help people hear my music is there anyway i could get help?
You could post some good posts that make people nod their head in agreement, click on your profile, and click to your band's website. Now attach your website to your profile.

You mean another off-shoot of Whiskey Media focused on music? If have some capital hanging around, hit up the Whiskey dudes and pitch 'em your idea. Although they tend to only work with professionals who have experience running a site, y'know?
I don't think the whiskey media website format would work as well as a music site.
Because you can't post music without breaking copyright laws it could only be indie music and myspace bands, and even then it becomes hard to keep track of who actually owns the music and who is just posting it to look cool.
I would say the biggest reason it could not work is that the market for a music website is extremely crowded already, and even giantbomb has only 50,000 users so it wouldn't really be able to compete with the tens of millions of users on myspace alone.
But you never know I suppose.. Its just so much easier for games,comics, and anime to be done because there isnt heavy copyright laws protecting it all over the place
well im more interested in getting exposure then making money. And this website has a great community where my band wouldnt be competing with 100's of others for your attention. Also i want to note that myspace is on its quick decline, i dont think any of my 400 friends log on any more. and brooksee that'sa crazy coincedence you sould come to a show for sure.

I was typing really fast not worried about spelling or punctution or grammer because im posting on a website that is powerd by pancakes and booze? I was unaware that this forum would be offended if i absent mindedly spelled site sight. Do you really believe that i don't know how to spell? Im sorry i just get so annoyed by you little geeks who run around on forums calling your self 'creamypies' correcting other people's spelling so that you will feel like you are smarter then someone else.
