What is it about the human psyche that a picture popping out really fast scares the living shit out of us?

I remember during Drag Me to Hell, there was a part where this simple demon CG in this guy's mind jumped forward with some flames around it; I almost jumped.

This video is old but, it's a classic.  This vid came out way before YouTube hit the scene.

This is the opposite of being scared but its HILLARIOUS!!

That house game was funny.

My brother and I would play Fatal Frame, well he'd play and I'd be in the room to give moral support and that game is the scariest game ever there is no doubt. There was one bit I remember vividly where you look through a little slit in the wall and you look for like 10 seconds and all for a sudden a fucking eye comes up. I had never been so scared in my life we both ran out the fucking room and turned all the lights on.

Honestly I find the 4pp guys pretty annoying. All they do is scream non stop. Some of those vids were funny though.

The bear was the best part of Condemned 2.
