Sometime I like to listen to music from Japan, mostly from video games or songs I hear in anime and enjoy. I don't really mind that I can't understand what they are saying, then it makes it like the voice is just another interment. The types of music very but I really enjoy Japanese rock, better than some of the shit people try to pass of as rock in America. Anyone else out there like this stuff?
GO NEW FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST SERIES!!!!
edit: Topic title typo D:

I listened to Jrock and Jpop back in the day. I used to love Dir en grey back in the day.
I still listen to anime & video game related JPop. I like it's bubblegum song structure. Lately I've been hooked on HALCALI's Tip Taps Tip from Eureka Seven.
I love J music, mostly rock. My favorite artist is hide, I fucking love every single one of his songs. Others I like:
- Versailles
- Luna Sea
- Alice Nine
- An Cafe
- SuG
- Dir en Grey
- Moi Dix Mois
- Malice Mizer
- Phantasmagoria
- Hikaru Utada
- Anna Tsuchiya
- Shiroh Sagisu
- Porno Grafitti
- X Japan
My favorite song (overall, not only in Jmusic) is Rocket Dive by hide with Spread Beaver:
I adore Akira Yamaoka 's music . In fact one of the main reasons behind my huge interest regarding Silent Hill franchise is Akira's work .
Japanese Musci is the name of the cologne Vinny douses himself with and it's given him the reputation as quite the snake chaser.
There are few sentences that can be formed that get exponentially better with each successive word but that, right there, is one of them.
"All girl Japanese ska band."
Quoted for awesomeness, thanks kmdrkul!
I mainly like JPop from artists such as Morning Musume and Kotoko. A favorite that I like from japan is IOSYS and have imported a couple of their CDs; they do a lot of remixes as well as their own work. They usually put out a couple of flash videos to accompany each release.
I don't really know how i got into j-music, but it's amazing how much cool stuff there is out there. I generally don't like all the visual-kei bands and prefer more of the indie-rock style stuff.

Surprised there's no mention of GIRUGAMESH! in here yet, but after my flirt with j-rock, the only band I still listen to is D'espairsRay.
