@Hizang:

Why the hell wouldn't the UK sell Twinkies?

You're not a bad person for not liking twinkies. You're a bad person if twinkies are available to you yet you never try one.

Twinkies are pretty damn nasty. Just sugar on top of sugar on creamy sugar.

Twinkies have their place. I love the taste, but they're to be enjoyed sparingly. And I love Dr. Pepper.

You are not a bad person for not liking twinkies. It's probably for the best as they are terrible for you, and if you like them they can be addicting.

All it really is is sponge cake with creme in the middle so if you haven't had it but know what sponge cake is then you have an idea.

I love twinkies but I know they are really bad so I try not to eat them 'cus when I do I eat a bunch of them and that's bad.

Edit: Also, on the topic of Soda, I have had soda from many different countries (having been in many different countries when I was in the army).

I can tell you "American Soda" like Dr. Pepper, Coca Cola, Pepsi, Mountain Dew... etc. It all tastes different over seas. I never really did research on it but I think it's because of how they manufacture it and possibly they even use different ingredients. I do know in some countries (such as Mexico) they use ingredients they no longer use in America.

Fun Facts.

My problem with Twinkies is that the chemical aftertaste is really strong. Also, I think Dr. Pepper is great.

American here, saying that Dr. Pepper used to taste good, then they did the 23 flavors campaign and made it taste like eggy sulfur pepsi, it doenst taste good anymore. If you tried Dr. Pepper after 2007, it was probably terrible.

Wow, I just now put the word twinky and the item together, this whole time I thought we were talking about Twix for some reason, I was wondering why there was so much twix hate, but yes, i do agree, twinkies are very overrated.

You will learn to luv THE DOCTER.... PEPPER.

You will.........

Actually I do not see it much, and it would have to be diet anyways. That would be aweful, and it could only be more aweful if I ate a twinky with it. If you are going to eat that proccessed crap, try hostess cupcakes or other cream filled..YO OH"S!!!!!

But I havn't even eaten a Yo Oh in probably a decade.

Twinkies are alright but the essence of the Twinkie left behind on the white square of thin cardboard underneath it is a bona fide delicacy. It's the Twinkie equivalent of pudding skin. If I were a wealthy man I'd lick the essence of 100 Twinkies in a single sitting and throw away the Twinkies themselves.

Dr. Pepper seems to be more divisive than I thought it would be. To me there's nothing better than a good hoagie from your local deli, some kettle chips and a Dr. Pepper to wash it down with. However, since Dr. Pepper is dividing us I shall reunite everyone the best way I know how. Yo dawgs, RC Cola is terrible, amirite?

I agree with other people in here about Dr Pepper. I was excited to try it when I saw it in a supermarket but I couldn't even finish the can. That stuff is really foul.

Twinkies are an acquired taste like coffee but for children. The same can also be said of Yoohoo come to think of it. Either way, it's something you eat when you're young because you like very sweet things, but then when you get older and your taste buds refine, it's harder to stomach. Lucky Charms and Apple Jacks cereals are two more that fit that category. Hostess Chocolate Cupcakes are better, but still nowhere near as good as a real cupcake. There's a shitload of chemicals in all these foods, but when you're young and hopped up on sugar, who cares?

Next time, stick with the Poptarts. I suggest the Frosted Strawberry.

Oh and screw Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb for life, bro.

I remember trying Mountain Dew when they started selling it more in Northern Ireland and to be honest I don't get why people rave about it so much. It tastes like a less fizzy version of Lilt. I love butterfinger though and Reese's peanut butter cups :D

Idk what you guys are talking about, nor do I care how they make chocolate or twinkies here in the U.S. I don't eat them constantly, but when I do I don't care how they're made because they're awesome.

Most North American candy is revolting - especially the chocolate, which is just loaded with vegetable oil and shouldn't even be called chocolate.

America invented chocolate chip cookies, brownies, & oreos. America also invented the Cookies & Creame flavor which is now one of the world's favorite flavors. Your arguement is invalid.

OT: Twinkies are overrated.

I think foreign chocolate tastes like Potatoes, but that's just me I guess. American chocolate isn't loaded with vegetable oil by the way.

For some reason certain groups of foreigners just like to take uneducated jabs at Americans and their products. Even though a vast majority of the things they enjoy come from America lol. Go figure.

I love how you are offending people for making sweeping generalisations by making sweeping generalisations. Nice one.
