I've got to learn Spanish and I just have to say I hate it. Had to choose between Spanish and French and thought Spanish was less unpleasent. Well I was wrong. Does anyone know any sites meant to help learning Spanish or a way to make it easier? (It's my 4.th language, and for some reason I simply can't get into it.)
Learning Spanish
Why does it sound like you're in middle school? Ignoring that comment, I will give you some advice: take French :P.
Racism edit with apologies:
I guess that may have come off sounding assholish; seriously not intended that way. What I MEANT was that Spanish is becoming (if it's not already) a major language in the US. Therefore, I think it would be a lot more useful to your average American to know some Spanish than it would be to learn French. Unless you plan on summering in the Cote d'Or.
To help learn it you really do need two books: 501 Spanish Verbs (an infamous school textbook) to learn conjugation of verbs and any good vocabulary book (read Amazon reviews for that one). Oh, and play with Google Translate. It really works shockingly well.
somebody on here uses the site. i never got a chance to learn use it but try it out.
spanish and italian are kind of the same lanauge. i just wanted to say that. a mexican told me that he understands a lot of what the italian people are saying. i worked at a place where it was italian people and a mexican.
It just blows my mind, how racist that was.Stick with Spanish if only because Census predictions have Hispanics at 30% of the U.S. population by 2050. If you want to converse with or at least understand what the vast majority of your service people are telling you then, by all means, Spanish is your best bet.
French is much more pleasant to learn imo. Also the girls are both hotter and smarter in French classes, on average. And if that's not what you're into, I'm sure the same applies to guys. I mean, I took French.

Tengo que aprender español, y tengo que decir que lo odio. Tuve que escoger entre español y francés, pensé que el español seria menos desagradable. Pues me equivoque. ¿Alguien sabe algún sitio web que ayude en el aprendizaje del español, o por lo menos hacerlo mas fácil? (Es mi cuarto idioma, y por alguna razón no puedo poner mi cabeza a trabajar para ello.)
You are on it, it's giantbomb.com!
Practice. I wish I had better advice but Spanish was pretty easy for me especially now that I'm taking Japanese, which is fucking brutal. Watch some movies in Spanish, that's a good way.
