With all this Whiskey subscription talk lately, I figured I might as well ask. If you have the time, provide a reason for your voting choice. For those of you that are not familiar with The Luchazine, you can check it out here or here. This poll is in no way concrete about anything and is purely to satisfy the Luchastaff's curiosity.
Mad Poll Yo: Do You Want A Print Copy Of The Luchazine?
Muhahahaha I was the first person to vote and yeah a print copy would be sweet, depending on the price and how you distribute it.
I personally wouldn't pay for it since it will likely end up among all the other junk I get in the mail and just go from the mailbox and straight to the trash.
But I still think it would be a good idea to do because there are people that are not like me at all that would actually keep them around and even collect them.
Of course an official print copy would be awesome. I have a thing for physical copies, so I guess that's really my only reason for wanting this.
I should quantify my answer of no. I have an iPhone, and I imagine I can read it on there. I haven't tried, as I've never really read it. I'll check it out, though.

Yes, if only because it would save me time in comparison to the mammoth undertaking that printing my own copies is.
Yea, I'd want a print version of The Luchazine, if possible. It'd motivate me a bit more to read it.
All print magazines I get in the mail either go straight to the recycling bin, or in the breakroom at work.
This would end up the same way.
I still read print magazines because I find that they are concentrated hubs of general information. I can find out things about things I didn't know I wanted to find out about because I never would have thought to look up something about that before.
In the world of the internet, I find that print magazines are the last bastions of hope for generalized information in a vast sea of detail and redundancy.
I'd at least be interested in finding out what the cost and print quality would be. I imagine it'd be pretty expensive to print a volume as large as both issues of the Luchazine have been, which unfortunately would be kind of a turn-off, but it might not hurt to at least find out.
But if i don't do it, then the new Printer will have been for naught.
Plus, I won't be able to brag about having the only physical Luchazines IN TEH HOLE WORLDZ!!!!

That was probably pretty obvious.
Maybe not to everyone though.
Although I do appreciate how you must be able to relate to the sheer fucking trauma that printing out Luchazines causes.
But, if you have a good monthly readership, and after the year is finished people still want it, The staff give you their go-ahead and maybe help pay for the thing and you make the front pages stand out a bit more, I don't see why not,
Don't get too carried away though, for your own benefit,
Yes. Yes. Yes.
But - it will depend on how much it will cost consumers (us) and of course, how much it cost you to print them on demand. As long as its not going to drive you to a nervous breakdown and financial ruin, then its an awesome idea.
The bottom line though, is that if an 'on-demand' service is currently the only way to get issues in people hands, then do it - its the only way that circulation could ever get high enough to warrant a subscription model, which is presumably the ultimate idea. Having a hard copy edition available as an option (even if no-one buys it!) is a always a great idea; it lends credibility to the publication on the whole.
But Im sure you already know all this, lol.
anyway, suffice to say - we'll be buying one!
