Its my dads favorite movie and it's message is all the more relevant today. Might make for a good present for him.

To anyone who hasn't seen it, you should totally check it out.

@slaps2: star wars is on blu ray, unless you mean the original theatrical cut being released on blu ray (which I think was announced recently).

Not everyone wants to spend 50, 60, or even 70 bucks importing them though.

I saw those and more at a local Barns and Noble, they're in the U.S. I would love a Miyazaki blu ray collector's edition. I didn't buy any of them at Barns and Noble because just for one, it was like 30 dollars, which is way overpriced I think.

Do you live in Europe/ UK or the US? I know for a fact neither spirited away or princess mononoke have blu ray releases in the US. It's also kinda hard to get a hold of their dvd versions as well.

Edit: apparently some new ghibli blu ray releases were recently announced (including princess mononoke). They aren't out yet though

@rongalaxy IDK who edited that wikipedia page, but that would be really dumb if they ruined Star Wars like that.

Serious note: Mononoke is officially released in November.

@rongalaxy: In WA (about 20 minutes away from where PAX is going on right now). Maybe I didn't see those, though I saw a lot of Miyazaki films there, and was pretty sure I saw Spirited Away. I have Castle in the Sky on blu ray. I know for a fact I saw My Neighbor Totoro there, Ponyo... A few more; there were about five in all. Now that I'm looking it up and seeing the case and everything, I don't remember seeing Princess Mononoke.

Pro-tip: The Blu-ray I mentioned is on Amazon.co.uk where you can order it to the US with postage for 29 dollars at the current conversion rate. So it'll be cheaper. Which is kinda funky.

Who else besides me thought this was a thread about Tested.com's Will Smith going to PAX?
