My diabetes inducing gingerbread house

 
To keep things in the Christmas spirit, I went out and bought a gingerbread house kit to make for Christmas Eve. On the box it said it included some candy, but to me it didn't look like it was going to be enough.   
 
 

  
 
So, just to be safe I went out to a candy store and bought my own bag of candy to make things a little more sweet. This is the horrible, horrible result:

I can't mix gummies with more solid food, its just weird to me. I always liked those blue dolphin things though. Haven't had them since I was a kid...

No M&Ms? This gingerbread house is incomplete.

Holy Shit, you can't even see the gingerbread. In my opinion, you are doing it wrong, the gingerbread is the best part of a gingerbread house.

Structural frosting always kinda grosses me out, but all that gummy candy looks delicious.
 
That reminds me, was anyone else pissed off when the GB crew ruined that gigantic gummy worm? I would have totally ate that.

I've always wondered - how does one eat a gingerbread house? Do you just cut a piece off or something? It seems like the entire structure wouldn't last very long if you removed an important support.

As a type one diabetic, i find this thread title and the jokes within repulsive and disgusting.
