Well i got a brand spanking new latop from Ebuyer yesturday and decided to vipe vista off it and install xp 64 bit :3 guess what followed :

Shame too as i lost my driver and the "Holy shit son you broke your shit" reboot cd you get with the latop .

I guess i can use it as a paperweight

Well before i get flammed lemme clear up some shizzle .
I need a Laptop to take to my college course . ( i do media) The programs that the college give me are old versions of adobe premier and photoshop Cs2 and downwards . They Don't work on vista . (yes i know some copies do but trust i tried it out before i spent money...duh)

My plans are to ask ebuyer for the recovery disk my latop came with . Or scower the house to try and find it . (i spent 12 hours looking for it )

Actually I don't know, you could ask a friend with Vista for the CD (I asked my grand father for his when I lost mine) and install it. For the code you can simply use any of the ones from your other machines, as long as they have the vista approved thingy.
