SNOW DAY

IN FORT WORTH, TEXAS!!!! Yeah, it's snowed all of 4 inches here, but waking up to a surprise school cancelation is probably one of the best feelings you can get. Anyone else snowed in from school?

This is the second day in a row for me.  Let's eat some cake!

I've missed the last three days, today was a joke though. Why we closed, I'll never know.

4 inches! Back in my day we would go barefoot through ten inches of snow to school and then straight to the mill for work after that.
AND WE NEVER COMPLAINED!

Okay, a little update. We're up to 9 inches! Most ever in DFW in 24 hours. Our school, Texas Christian University (go Frogs!) just erupted when the school sent out a mass text canceling school tomorrow.

I'm in Waco, and we got about 1-2 inches...and everyone freaked out about it!  Closing down businesses early, closing schools early...delaying school and work tomorrow... 
 
Seriously, these people are fucking crazy.  There are countries that operate on a regular basis under winter conditions FAR worse than this! 
 
Just goes to show that people in Texas FREAK THE FUCK OUT whenever anything falls from the sky...

I live on East Coast. WE got another Nor easter. The hype about it got me early dismissal. It ended up snowing only an inch or 2. Its already half gone.

Had a snow day yesterday, two hour delay today here in New York.

i live just outside dc and i've had snow days all this week

I've gotten 40 inches at least over the past week here in Maryland. I've been off this whole week and don't go back to school until next Tuesday.

Bah...
Up here in Toronto, I've never gotten a snow day ever.
We got too many snow clearing machines.

Down here in San Antonio we only got ridiculously cold rain, we never get snow

They are predicting snow here in Georgia where I live in my area, but I still have to work from 3pm-12am >_>

Why did they cancel school for 4 inches of snow?

It was 41 degrees at work today but we have fuckin sweet airconditioning so I didnt even notice. Snow days are alien to me.

4 inches lol, we have to have snow over our heads to have a snow day here in Labrador Canada.
