Just wanted to say sorry to anyone I have pissed off over the last year or 2. I can be a bit of a prick and I know that this isn't a legitimate reason to be this way but I have been unemployed off and on for the last year and it has brought a lot of stress into my life. I become easily irritated because of this and sometimes lash out at the people that use this site. It is wrong of me to use these forums as a way to vent and relieve my stress and I apologize. I know this will most likely be locked because there is no discussion value here but I wanted the community to know that I feel bad for being a dick here and there. There are quite a few good people that post here and they deserve to be treated with respect. Sorry to the mods that I may or may not have pissed off and I hope you will forgive me. I am really not that bad of a person. Anyways I just wanted to say that this community means a lot to me and I felt like getting this off my chest. Sorry if this is super corny.

I don't know that you've ever personally offended me, but I think it's great to apologize and own up to something if you're feeling guilty. I've done it on these forums before too.

I think if we all apologized a little more, the whole world might be a kinder, more civil place.

I'm assuming at some point I have since 80% of my posts were dickish towards someone. Or maybe those people took my comments with a grain of salt. Either way just wanted to apologize if anyone got bummed out by my dickish ways. I'm trying to live my life in a more positive way and as sad as it may sound these forums are a pretty significant part of my life.

Maybe the people I have been a dick to in the past don't even remember what i'm referring to but I just wanted to cover my grounds. I have had a few negative things to say about Patrick and even though i'm sure he won't read this I wanted to apologize. The dude delivers some good news and I, for some reason, have had a hard time adapting to his joining the squad. He's a good guy and I know I have been a dick to him for sure.

For all the talk about people being dicks on giant bomb.com recently, I can't remember a time when someone has been so to me. And I feel like I would've deserved it, what with all the dumb stuff I've been up to on certain recent threads...

I shouldn't have to explain what I said, but here goes -- If I feel like I should apologize for my behavior towards someone (which is what the OP has indicated they felt) and then I immediately rationalize not apologizing to them personally by telling myself, "They probably wouldn't have listened anyways. I'll just leave a note somewhere that they might happen to read but probably won't." then I'm doing a pretty bad job of apologizing to that person.
