Super Bowl XLIV - Watching it? Plans?

New Orleans Saints v. Indianapolis Colts at the Sun Life stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
 
I'll just watch the commercials online, but I'm curious to see how the "Madden Prediction" pans out (Saints win, 35 to 31).

The only (and I mean only) reason I care about the Super Bowl is because my dad makes some kick-ass chili.  Mmmm...chili.

Ummm no, I'm not watching it. I honestly didn't even know it was this weekend, or who was playing until I came to this thread. Usually, I watch the Super Bowl, but this year I have heard zero buzz about it. So yea... I'm more excited for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver next weekend.

I was surprised it was today when I Googled the teams and stadium, I thought it was always "Super Bowl Sunday!".

I hope the saints win.

I might have it on in the background while I do something else. Definitely not gonna make into an event or party or anything though.
 
Too many commercials. I don't care how bid the budget or how clever they are they are still fucking commercials.

I'll watch, have some beers, and watch the commercials. It's the only NFL game I'll watch all year so I'll make the most of it.

My buddies are calling up to my place for our annual Superbowl beer-and-bad-food-a-thon.
 
It's a tradition we established several years ago. Kickoff is at 11.25 pm Irish time, so we all have Monday off.
 
We just beat the Italians in our first Six Nations game today, (rugby) so we're off to a good start with our oval ball games this weekend.

I'm going to my brother's house to watch Super Bowl XLIV. He just got a new TV and everything, and it looks pretty awesome. Ready to watch sports in hyper-real! The way it was meant to be watched!
