So I only recently (well last night in fact) joined the Giant Bomb community, and it seems very active, lively, friendly and cool, so I thought I'd introduce a fun forum game I used to play on a forum that has died out. It's titled "The LIAR! Game," and I hope you enjoy.
How it works is, a random statement is posted, for example:
You told me you like peanut butter.
To which the next poster responds with LIAR! and some reason as to why they are lying, related to the post, for example,
LIAR!
I told you I'm allergic and you're simply trying to find an excuse to kill me.
Now I know that's really quirky, but the aim is to make the reasons they are lying as funny or creative as you can. Once you've given a reason they lie, it's your turn to write (in the same post that is) a random statement, that is unrelated to the previous one. You're essentially "restarting." Then, the next poster says LIAR! to your statement, gives the reason, posts a random statement, etc. etc. Keep in mind these statements and reasons should not be more than a sentence.
Mind you, the example I gave is horrible, mainly because I haven't played the game in years so I've gotten out of habit, but if lots of people participate and statements get creative, it's a lotta fun. So, I hope you understand how it works. I'll start:
I heard aliens are invading next Thursday.
