No shit, I still have no idea why that song was ever popular.Oh boy another topic to shit on pop music.
Fuck you, Dumbledore
The official "Worst song you've ever heard" thread.

Finish this. I fucking dare you. I fucking dare you to attempt to listen to all of this. You can't do it. If by some miracle you actually do find a way you won't want to live any more.
...Yep. Finished it. Horrid, but not necessarily the worst song I've ever heard.
The song I hate the most, though?
I can't tell you why, I just hate hearing it.

Little social experiment here. I came across this Nicki Minaj video today (my 14 year old nephew thinks it's the "booooommmmbbbb") - which made me appreciate that there is just so much bad music out there. What's the worst track you've ever heard?
When I first heard the song... I thought for a second, Is Nicki trying to troll us?
Like, her last few videos she just looks HELLA awkward, for a woman with a big ole ass, she has no clue how to shake it or look sexy or seductive.
But then I remember, she got hot b/c she basically copied Wayne's nonsensical style (which I LOATHE) and fans fell for it... probably because of her big ass, I dunno.
As for LMFAO, I find them, clearly trolling, they dont proclaim to be anything but a club group, and i have no problem with it, a LMFAO song can liven up any party, even in that, hipster ironic way.

Fuck 2 things 1) I'd like to be apart of the shake team 2) i like how the basket is tipped over at 1:57
Modern Country music sucks.
But the one band that I will not hesitate to absolutely and completely shit upon is Linkin Park.
At best, it's overproduced emo-pop. At it's worst, I want delete that awful band from the database of humanity. Two songs was enough to cement to me the loathing I have for Linkin Park. Their music is such a compete and utter shit. All of it should burn in hell. I ABSOLUTELY AND COMPLETELY HATE LINKIN PARK. Such shit, I don't understand it's popularity.
"I'm Sexy and I Know It." I work with such retards that to them is a good song. HATE!
Since I haven't clicked play on anything in this thread I can safely say that this, officially, is the worst song I have ever heard.
It's like "A Burns For All Seasons" of everything that I hate in music; using a single trope (breakdowns) to make up half of the song and blowing the impact of it altogether, cop-out feeling addition of techno, auto-tune, crabcore, and most importantly, "fucked for life" looking guys wearing clothes 2 sizes too small and following screams with "singing". I'm choking on my own rage here simply thinking about it.
I respect LMFAO because they don't take themselves too seriously, The Sexy and I know it vid is practically a satire of themselves.

this is absolutely terrible.
....is it wrong that I am contemplating getting this album now?
The worst songs are the most mediocre songs, and I don't think one can get any more mediocre than starting your song off with "my best friend gave me the best advice." I'm looking at you, dear Nickelback. I consider songs I try to make up as the worst things I've ever heard, but I can at least know I can write lyrics with better lines than that cheese.

Not as bad as some of the songs on here but I just had to swoop in since I have seen no mention of Cake yet, I will never understand how this band became something.
You sir, have no musical taste. Cake is awesome. Never There and Comfort Eagle are two of the greatest songs of our time!
Anything by Fall of Troy. It's a musical clusterfuck.
And this is god awful too.
I could go on and on, but I don't want to.
Huh, I wanted to post the song tennis-player Caroline Wozniacki made - I mean she has no plans to make a singing career and it is for charity after all - but it is still one of the worst things I have ever heard in my life. But of course, somebody had to go ahead and ruin the fun by claiming the rights to the video and getting it pulled from Youtube...
EDIT: Also I only have one response to the fact that Nicki Minaj is actually selling music and apparently going on tour - which must mean that somebody likes her "music" right?
Anyway the thought of it makes me go:
My contribution to this social experiment:
I almost never hate stuff. Whenever I'm about to hate something, all I can think of is that somebody loves it in the same way that I love something like, say, Ex-Spectator by Fugazi, which for my money is one of the greatest lyrical and musical achievements in music.
So as a point of personal pride I never hate things. I either like them ironically or avoid them entirely. Now let's all enjoy some Fugazi.
