Just would like you to take some time out of whatever you're doing and look at this website, it's really touching, I think.

Phillip Toledano - Days with My Father

It's basically a slide show plus some text logs, moving your mouse towards the lower edge of the screen allows you to scroll through each slide, and moving your mouse to the left edge allows you to view all the slides' thumbnails.

Just take some time to look at it and read through it, and post here what you think.

That was awesome, the effect was wasted on me though as my father is a complete dick and the sooner he dies the better the entire world will be for his end :)

You're welcome bro, it really does. Makes me sad to think of the day where my father will be like that, memories that are missing there pieces... then again it makes me hope that the day comes, and my dad will be so full of life even then.

I really didn't think much of it. I like my Dad, but this is someone else's story that I can't relate to.

Great find. This was very well done, the words along with the photos really help others feel what it's like to be in that person's place. Very sad.

What's sad? He's enjoying life with his dad. Most people in the world can't say they've done that.

That's true, but I was speaking more of his father, losing his memory and whatnot.

Yeah I think he means it is a sad experience for his father, with the loss of memory and hard to live basically. Still it is a nice story because at least they till have eachother.

I can't tell you how sincerely I was hoping the first post of this thread would be a picture of Brian Peppers.

Haha.  Oh well, better luck next time.
