Just came back from the movies, and all i have to say is that THIS MOVIE is awesome. Pixar has done it again. And they teased Toy Story 3. I think Pixar has the most talented filmmakers. I thought they can't top Wall-E but they did it.
who else saw it? what do you think?
Up was awesome
Wall-E was a terrible movie IMO second worst Pixar movie ever.
Cars was the worst.
Anyways, UP looks good.

I loved Wall-E's first half or so, but it fell short for me afterward. I still love Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles though. Pixar is a very talented team. Their movies are some of the ones I most enjoy going to see alone at the theaters. I also like how so many movies are utilizing the newly popularized tech for 3D now. I hope it doesn't become oversaturated.
Wall-E was great, don't know what you guys are talking about.

My favorite Pixar movies were Monster's Inc. and The Incredibles, both amazing.

@Stang: I hope you like it. It's a good movie overall. I wouldn't say it's worth 30 dollars to own, ... [more]
@Infinity
Toy Story is my favorite also. Probably because I was a little kid and the animation style was so fresh.....regardless it was/is awesome.
As far as Up goes, I am sure it is great as are all Pixar films. I will catch it when it hits On Demand.

Yeah I agree about Wall-E. It was a pretty disappointing movie, got kind of boring.
I'm not so sure about Up, doesn't really interest me from the previews. Still consider The Incredibles and Toy Story 1 to be their best films.

My friend said the movie made him cry.
Not tears of joy, not tears of hating the movie, genuine tears.
He's a harsh critic on what he watches.
I cried three times during Up. I actually thought Wall-E was way funnier, but I think that's mostly because Up showed a lot of it's funny things during the previews. Overall though, I liked them both about the same. Which is to say, they're both the best CG movies.
Also, no short this time, at least for me. I saw it in 3D though, so maybe they just had that in 2D? Eh, that seems weird though.

I keep forgetting how awesome Pixar's films are. I walk in thinking "This should be alright." But then see the movie and remember that Pixar is one of the best movie studios out there.
I swear it's happened to me like 5 times now...
Wall-E was ok, I don't see what's so great about it.
This also looks sorta "meh", but I'll watch it eventually as I love Pixar.
every other studio out there making CG movies can bow down and blow pixar, EVERY YEAR. Pixar has an incredibly talented group of people man. Cars is the only one i felt was O.K. but all the rest, excellent and i could watch any of them. Amazing how a movie like Up could be so damn good to a bunch of dudes on a videogame forum, amirite?! its just like jack blacks joke at the oscars, he makes a cg movie each year, takes all of the money he makes for it, and then bets it all on a pixar movie to win the oscar! LMAO!
