So, I have this giant empty space on my wall next to where my desk is. Being the idiot I am, I figured I'd use all that empty space as an opportunity to draw some stuff on it! I'm not going to color it (since I lack the materials to do so) but it'll end up being a real nice black and white drawing right next to where I spend most of time at home. :D

Here's what I got so far:

No Caption Provided
 I plan on posting progress pictures as the whole thing grows along. There's some stuff in the way near the bottom, so I doubt I'll be able to finish her entire body but if I do, the whole thing would be roughly 6 feet high. Also worth noting, the whole thing is done freehand so it's more meticulous work than anything. Should of gone with a grid D:

Fun times!

Progress!

It's worth noting that I'm absolutely sorry for the awful, awful quality of the pictures. The phone on the ROKR E8 is most certainly not any good and I don't own a digital camera, so I apologize in advance for the crappiness of the next few updates. ><

That being said, shit's coming together!

It's me drawing for the better part of 9 years. A lot less in the past years since I've been busy with games/work but yeah... there's a lot of practice in there. >>

It's looking pretty good so far. Keep up with the updating so we can see how it turns out.

I might have to commission you to draw me something.

I always sucked at reproducing an existing piece. You got a great start of what looks like a great piece. Love me some video game inspired art.

Oh. Well in that case why not draw a massive pair of tits on your wall? With artistic skill like that, why not I say?

@HitmanAgent47: Naw. :( It's from another artist. This is already going to take me a bunch of hours, adding like, 4 more onto that does not seem fun.
@Muttinus_Rump: She's my character in SSFIV :(
@Azteck: It's true. It's also how my house constantly floats in the air. Makes catching pencils that roll off the desk crazy hard.

it is going to look cool man. i want one of those on one of my walls of something. i don't feel like doing it and don't have ideas. i would think that my parents would be mad at drawing on their walls. i still live with my parents, it feels bad man.

I wonder if people are going to pay you to vandalize their walls.  Have you considered drawing hot anime chicks on the ceiling as a modern Sistene Chapel?

It's rather fortunate you did not draw grids.

As an artist myself I realize that it is an easy technique to keep things in proportion... however on several occasions when going to erase the faint grid - it has left graphite stains that are still visible on the final. Doesn't always happen, but can happen in spots which are rather noticeable at least to the artist.  But usually this just happens with paintings, where the paint has to go overtop of the grid... shouldn't really be the case here if the whole thing was only drawn.

Looking good though!

@LtColJaxson: I actually used grids for the 4-feet tall, 5-character drawings of Nintendo ladies I did. I didn't use graphite pens but just regular-ass HB pencils for the grids, so a wet kleenex took care of the left over grids super easy. I guess it depends on which wall you're drawing, though. D;

@HellBrendy: Very much dislike that movie, but that must look wicked awesome either way. o:

@Apathylad: Ha! Someday, I'll be given the opportunity to draw like, Highschool of the Dead chicks all over a church. SOMEDAY!!

@iam3green: Lucky for me I just live with my mum. She loves my artwork so she's thrilled everytime she sees what I draw :D

Pencil's are graphite.

That's good though that you were able to erase it. I haven't tried stuff on dry wall... only on canvas which does not allow pencil to erase well.  Here are a few I did for myself a few years ago...

It is the Beatles one that got some permanent pencil grid lines which I am disappointed about - however they are hard to see unless you go up close. I thought you might be interested a bit anyway!

@LtColJaxson: They are, but when I think of graphite I think of pencils that have like, 4B fatness or 4H lightness to them. :/ An HB pencil is just a pencil to me. And yeah, pencils on canvases are a bitch beyond reason. What you can probably do is get either a super-light pencil (5H) or get one of those fancy mechanical pencils that have special leads in them. They're hyper-light, are colored light blue/pink/green/purple and are super easy to erase. I use them for my on-paper drawings all the time.

@eroticfishcake: That, unfortunately, would be pushing it D:

Makes me want to become better. I was always far too lazy though to put in the work and time to learn techniques for perspective and all that.

Nice work regardless.

@RockmanBionics: It takes serious dedication :( Perspective is the hardest thing of all along with muscle structure to get down properly. Well, those and drawing fucking fingers and feet. Thanks, though!

This is very awesome,  I've wanted to do something like this for years, but don't want to have to repaint the walls when I move.  Maybe I just need xtra large sketch paper.
