What's your favo(u)rite decade of music?

Whenever I hear 80's music I get this goofy grin on my face. Though each era on this list has its merits I like music from each of them I prefer the 80's.

90s because of Chemicals Brothers, Underworld, Prodigy, Massive Attack

Very hard to choose. Some days it's 70s or it could be the 80s or even this decade.

I don't really have any particular decade that I like. I think every decade had it's own good/bad.

Every single choice available presented some awesome music, and because of that, I can't pick just one.

90's.

Offspring, Limp Bizkit, Linking Park, System of a Down, Korn, Smashing Pumpkins, Snoop Dogg, Dre, X-Zibit and so on.

Okay guys, but seriously. Led Zeppelin. Creedence. I mean yeah, Pearl Jam and Neutral Milk Hotel. But Led fucking Zeppelin.

80s

90's. For several reasons.
1 - I was born in 88. The 90's has most of the music that I was exposed to as a kid and really liked, but I listened to a lot of rock from the 80's as well.
2 - The 90's had by far the largest variety of dominant music ever. I was big on Techno, Rock, Symphonic Metal, and PoP in those days. I still cant stand most rap, but the occasional song I like.
3 - Music in general now (2002 onward) just seems lazy. I'm a fan of metal, but I cannot STAND screamo. Half the techno seems half assed compared to the 90's hits like Omnibus and Sandstorm. Rock bands are either changing their image, changing band members, or all together hitting low times. PoP is the new disco, by that I mean its dead.

Definitelly the 80s, the decade of music revolution.

I couldn't pick three, But 60's, 70's, 80's for me.. Too many great songs from those decades. "Everyone knows Rock attained perfection in 1974.. It's a scientific fact." - Homer Simpson.

Since I'm a big fan of Antonín Dvořák and I find his American period stuff the most interesting... I'm going to have to go with the '90s... the 1890s

Of the options presented however, I'll take the 60s first and then the 70s...

The 90s is the decade for metal, well it is for black metal and death metal.

I'd say rap too, but then that'd miss out N.W.A and a lot of Run-D.M.C.

For me EDM peaked in the early 90's. So that.

I'm a metalhead, so the default answer is the 80's. I do have a soft spot in my heart for early-mid 90's punk, ska, and hip-hop, though.
