What's your favourite type of bagel?

...following on from the favourite pie thread. I didn't make a poll since I don't know enough different types but I do have to say I could murder a cheese & pepperoni bagel right now. They are delicious.
 
What are yours?

I usually just go with plain with cream cheese. Occasionally onion or "everything."

Cheese and pepperoni sounds pretty awesome though...

If I'm just eating the bagel, then plain or cinnamon raisin usually. However, I really like a toasted everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese in it.

On the rare occasion that I actually go to the Big Apple Bagel, I get the Jalapeno & Cheddar bagel with scallion cream cheese. Awesome.

Everything bagels are amazing. Just butter, or maybe a little bit of cream cheese and you are in heaven.

I like plain bagels with cream cheese. Yummy.

Emily's bagel. Sure it makes me sleepy and hungry, but it is Emily's bagel after all.

At Miami University there is a restaurant that serves bagel sandwiches. I ate a Thin Lizzy bagel.  Perfect drunk food.

Personally it's a debate for me between pumpernickel bagels and egg bagels. Guess it sorta depends on my mood.

When I was younger, we used to have a shop called "The Great Canadian Bagel Store" in our town, and it was glorious. It was the size of two stores, and it always smelled like bagels. The best part, though, was the mural painted along all the walls, which showed a seaside where EVERYTHING WAS BAGELS. BAGEL SEAGULLS, BAGEL FISH, EVEN A BAGEL SUN. Hell, if you had zoomed out far enough the whole Earth would have been a bagel!!! It was probably the greatest store ever built, and like all good things, it could not remain profitable and was turned into a dry cleaners.

Also seriously what's the deal with most bagels these days? They're like 5 pounds, and are thick as shit. Sooo nasty.

As for bagel type, poppy seed is the best.

Depends on the spread, I like plain white bagel with either normal,veggie or strawberry spread. But I also like the others like asiago cheese and the ones with the sun flower seeds.

Anyone answering with a filling is a twat. Surely the answers should be Cinnamon and Raisin or Onion or plain. Not ham and cheese, or cream cheese and pepper.

I will go down on an onion bagel for sandwiches but a poppy seed bagel for cream cheese.

Plain because its the most versatile.  Perfect for butter, cream cheese, pizza topping, peanut butter, or whatever you like. 

Bacon and egg bagel with plain cream cheese or bacon and chedder cream cheese.

Bagels are really rare here in Sweden, but I do love me some plain bagel with cream cheese and tomatoes. We need more Hebrews here dammit!
