Swamp People, duh.
Which History Channel Show Is The Bestest Candy?
" I'm not sure if this post is legit, luckily I know a guy that specializes on internet forum posts I'll have him check this out and see how much err how legit it is. "Good one.

" None of the above. "You watch the Oxygen channel.
I thought this thread was going to be about the shows they pass off as being legitimately informative about history. Those are bullshit.
All of these programs are somewhat enjoyable, but there are some things on Pawn Stars that nobody would ever bring to a pawn shop unless it was stolen, so that feels a little staged, which wouldn't surprise me. Never watched Swamp People.
Hoarders and American Pickers are my favorites.
" Where's the "none of the above" option? I prefer the non-reality shows, like Modern Marvels and the various documentary types that look at, you know, actual history. "The "none of the above" option is in a different thread.
My understanding is that every other show is just them fucking up history, usually by stuffing Nazis/conspiracy theories where they don't belong. "No, trust us, Geoffrey Chaucer was a HUGE Nazi. Just look at him saying that people can die of imagination. That's what the Nazis were doing: concentrating on imagining new ways to kill people in their IMAGINATION CAMPS!"
@Claude:
Ooh, a personal attack. Like I don't get enough of those in politics. At least we don't spend all our time fawning over dusty old tomes, searching for meaning that isn't there. Notice how I was generous by using the best of your society.
" @Jeffsekai:You seem angry over nothing, try masturbating or having sex.

Again, like I don't get enough of that in Lunarian politics. (Petty insults and feverish sex are two of the nine cornerstones of politics.)
Another cornerstone! Impotent rage! Back on subject, though, I have good reason to be mad: he's a dirty racist. I'm not a fan of Earth racists.
History Channel is nothing like it used to be before all these 'reality' shows hit. I miss 'Ancient History Tuesdays' and such. Hell, I enjoyed the stock WW2 footage they used to show more than the crap that's on now. Same thing for TLC...it's basically a style/health/DIY channel now. They used to show interesting stuff like Connections or Desmond Morris' 'The Human Animal', now it's all quiltwork and birthing babies.
" How are any of these shows on the "History" Channel in the first place? "That's a very good question.
