why do i feel like a bunch of people copied my avatar

a few weeks after i chose big boss as my avatar i noticed someone else with the same avatar.  at this point i see around five people with this avatar.  i want to know if its just a coincidence or if they copied of me

Fairly sure it is either one of the default images used for avatars or just simply a popular picture of that character which would explain why many people are using it. Creating a topic about it doesn't really do much to address the issue, since the issue cannot be addressed or fixed. People are free to use the image they want for an avatar provided it stays within the rules of the site.
