I don't want to insult you but no one who knows something about music can say the JB are a "great" band...hell they barely quallify as music "
i never called them "great" i referred to them a "phenoms" in a half joking manner [i'll remember my "jk" for next time]. I was just saying that i like them because they're wholesome...they're on disney and they don't stray from that. They know their audience and wont sing degrading nor demeaning songs.....Good for the little kids to look up to

if that's even the case, which i highly doubt it is, that's like saying, don't take off your shoes when you walk into someone's house just because they want you to.....Whether they are remaining "pure" because they want to or because disney is pulling strings behind the scenes, what difference does it make? a positive message is still being sent out to the youth.

The difference is the Jonas Brothers don't deserve any praise, as they're just tools of Disney. The actual group conveys none of their own morals or values, only the ones they were told/let to sing and is a complete joke musically.

I don't understand how they announce shit like that. When their groopies come over, they sleep in the guest room. Sure thats a positive allright haha but do you have to make a fricken announcement about it? How bout Nick talking about how hard it is to have diabetes. Stop Bitchin about that, too my friend has his same type of it and its not bad. There was no announcement made on their end. They were asked by a reporter about their purity rings and thats how that story came to light.
Nick does more than "bitch" about his diabetes...He's the ambassador to some Diabetes organization...it's his job to bring awareness to it....or "bitch" as you interpret it.

I am not a fan of the original song, but the cover is awful....and made even MORE awful by the fact it's used in some Target commercial or whatever store it was pimpin' ...it was awful!
Personally, I think the worst cover in existence is Limp Bizkit's cover of The Who's Behind Blue Eyes. That's a prime example of an idiot turning a beautiful song into shit. The Who's version, with Daltrey on vocals and the heavier section towards the end, is one of rock's greatest pieces. Nobody should touch Pete Townshend's songs, ever.
