My lower left arm is covered by a design inspired by the GI Joe comics I read as a kid, so... yeah, it's probably only a question of time. And if you really want a tattoo, but are afraid it'll harm your chances of getting a job - just don't tattoo your face or hands. Unless your dream is to become a lifeguard at a pool somewhere.

I am pondering on getting one, but I don't really know what. I would love a Portal one on my leg (portals on both sides with dude waving), the Protoss-sign from SC 2 or something else.

Nah. There's nothing in gaming that I feel is meaningful enough to permanently put on my body. I would like to get a tattoo but I don't know what I want. I can't choose out of any design.
If I worked on a game and put in years of blood and sweat into something, then yeah, I would get a tattoo as a little battle notch. Even if the game ended up being awful.
As only a fan however, I could not. I lost a year of my life to Gordon Freeman at one point, but I never thought to get a Half-Life tat. Games are enjoyable, but no game has hit me in such a way that my life took on a new direction and I wanted to encapsulate that power and passion with ink.
Haha, what a load of bullshit! Also you don't need the ' in tattoos, the tattoos aren't possessing anything in that sentence and i doubt you meant "Tattoo is are a sin" because that would be silly.
If the game, character, symbol or whatever you get done means enough to you, then I don't see the problem. I know several people with the Triforce and I think it looks pretty cool.
I had thought about getting the Hyrulian crest on my back for a while, but I think I'm just content to have it sewn onto my backpack instead. I already have three other tattoos, though, and they're all pretty much cribbed from literature.
