I've got a few ideas.

I have to say Archer really seems to be a popular choice, and even though he would be a terrible poker player (because he just wouldn't give a shit, and go all in on the first hand) I still think he'd be a good fit for the style & feel of the game. That being said, I think Lana would be a better fit. This gave me an awesome idea:

Ladies night: Jack (Mass Effect), Elaine Marley (Monkey Island), Lana Kane (Archer) & Ramona Flowers (Comic version - Scott Pilgrim)

Then I had a terrible idea, which would actually be awesome: the John DiMaggio special: Bender (Futurama), Wakka (Final Fantasy X), Marcus Fenix (Gears of War) & Dr. Drakken (from Kim Possible, that guy is hilarious)

For my serious draft though, I'd have to say: Doc Brown (BTTF), Lana Kane (Archer), The Scout (TF2) & Grayson Hunt (Bulletstorm).

I do like the idea of a "Ladies Night" version with GLADoS dealing.

It seems as if a) Valve is in every game, b) Gearbox is back, and c) Sam and Max characters are a requirement. (NONE OF THESE ARE BAD THINGS.)

The Dealer: G-Man (Half-Life)for the Valve cameo, but they'd have to seriously buff his graphics. If not, I'm on board to bring GLaDOS (Portal) back.

I would pay good money to get them into this game, and I think Watterson could give them the rights if they pitched it properly. That would be the best poker game of all time.

alright here's my pitches i came up with some backups for the fact that this is a total disregard for the likelihood of these characters actually getting in but to start off i see a couple of people mentioned Big Boss, Solid Snake, and G-Man i think G-Man should only be a dealer not a player as the Snakes maybe specifically Boss but i think either could dealers as well but then again more so Boss

but my all time favorite dealer would have to be Luigi since he did have his own little gambling hub in like three of the DS Mario games it would be the best

as for the actual players i already mentioned Big Boss and maybe Solid Snake but some others are Dante DMC4 in particular all hate aside for DmC i think that Dante just as much as DMC3 Dante are just too wild for such a scene and besides the old Dante seemed to be all about gambling while this new one is more about partying and the DMC4 version had the best charisma and all around personality and is the second oldest version out of the original series that particular one would be the greatest thing ever

Some others that were already mentions Booker and Elizabeth would be cool I find it impossible to choose between Nathan Drake and Victor Sullivan but either would fantastic and Deadpool would be funny as well as James Bond or 007 would be a good pick

Nick from L4D is the particular character from the Left 4 Dead series that is the best candidate out of the 8 survivors we've had I would think Wario would be perfectly fitting with or without Luigi all things considered Niko Bellic from GTA4 or even better John Marston would be cool and finally Duke Nukem or B. J. Blazkowicz would be amazing I think these are all my perfect characters even if some of them are next to impossible specifically Luigi and Wario but it would make my life if they did this bunch
