    Overview

    These games are specifically made to sell a product and have been proven to be an effective marketing tool. Popular genres for such games are platformers, mini game collections and arcade racers. You usually play as the mascot of said brand and sometimes the product (especially when it comes to chips or candy) may appear in the game as a collectible, currency or points.
