If you are going to have to try and trick your dad your plan probably isn't going to go over very well. BUT you could tell your dad that Gears of War 2 DOES have a parental setting that will turn of cursing and change blood into what looks like sparks.

I'm so happy I don't have to deal with that anymore cause I'm 17 and I can buy the games myself. But, believe me, I know the feeling. Hope everything works out for you and glad you're not too injured by that accident. I've gotten in that same kind before and it's not fun.

Well Fable II is rated 15 here in the UK so you could use that. 

Fable 2 tasks you with a lot of moral choices .. I'd argue that it's rather valuable to play that game. At least if you opt for being a good guy :)
