So what new things have people spotted from the reveal trailer (apart from Dom's beard thing)?
 

• Locusts seem to be all armed with lancers
• Different type of shotgun is being used by Marcus
• Tentacle beasts
  

I actually think it might not be Dom with the beard.

OP error, locust stll wield Hammerburst II from Gears 2. Not the Lancer. Good catch on the shotgun i missed it the first time. Double barrel looks pimp.

Marcus has got more arms on show. All we needed was for the cogs to be more naked.

Gears 2 multiplayer was a disappointment. I'm not buying a full price game for 6 hours of story, even if it is gears. I won't preorder this, but if the multiplayer is usable this time then I might get it.

Yeah i can imagine that after 'you know what' that Dom would look more older and battered. So I guess it really is Dom.
 
I also am not certain on whether female COGs are new? I think they might have been mentioned somewhat in the book?

Dom looks a lot more rough after the events in gears 2 and when the locust aproachs he makes no intention to move out its way. Seems like everyone in delta is wearing less armour *possibly due to less resources after sinking jacinto.* The female cog *anya maybe* hands dom a lancer that is from the pendulum wars which didnt have a chainsaw bayonet.

yeah bernie matakia *might have spelt that wrong* she is mentioned in aspho fields and in jacinto's remnant she is rescued when jacinto sinks. but she is older than marcus and dom i believe so i doubt thats her in the trailer "

I'm pretty sure that the big tentacle monster and the locusts were fighting against each other.  When it first came up it grabbed some, and at the very end the COGs shoot a locust in the back because he is turned around pointing his gun at the tentacle monster.

Yeah, it definitely turns into a three way fight there at the end. Dom and Marcus look at each other confused for a moment before continuing to fire.
