Anyone else bought the game and had a bug with the tanks sliding sideways?

Do you have any controllers attached? I left my flightstick hooked up while I launched Tribes Ascend and it kept spinning me left and looking up until I disabled the lines in the input ini that reference the axes that my stick doesn't even have. I don't have this game, but I wouldn't be surprised if something similar was happening.

Nah, I played offline practice first, then when I joined multiplayer online, the tanks were wonky. That's the best theory I have ATM.

IGN gave this game a 2.5 and said it was basically totally broken and in an early alpha state. The issues the reviewer faced sounded tremendously bad. So I'm not surprised.

I didn't suffer those issues, but it felt... off. The FPS stuff on foot feels bad, artillery is mainly used for shooting down overpriced blimps, and the one time I tried to play Army Skirmish online, my units refused any non-Move orders 90% of the time and I'm not sure why.

There were only 8 people playing it online on the Sunday evening after it was released, so I bet its online community is gonna die off before it gets patched. Shame, really; the game might've had legs if it was released in a better state.
