@Don_Prudenzio:  I've noticed that a lot of people who are new to driving sims prefer Chase cam. IMO, your lap times will suffer because of that view however.

I really had to work on spacial awareness to become better at these games.

I agree with you, probably performance will be better. I just don't like cockpit view and the feedback issue plays a part in my dislike of that view.

" I'd like to ask those who play with cockpit view..  How the hell do you do it?  I cannot do anything but bumper-cam in any racers if they allow it, rare cases third-car-person if it requires it like Outrun 2. Is it a simulation-freak thing? I cockpit in flight sims since the days of F-15 Strike Eagle II but cars.. "
It's not that hard, if you can do it in real life you can do it in a game. But I guess that's the relation between those who prefer cockpit view to those that don't.

New tracks would be nice at some point.  I want to drive in Seattle again, a place once lived.

The only problem is the cars with the smallish windshields. Well, that and standard cars.

Sadly, they can't fix all the big issues with the game itself.  It'll forever look like a combo PS2/3 game.

I think you have the ability to adjust your field of vision in cockpit view.
