    Creation

    Originally seen in Sonic The Hedgehog 2 in the Aquatic Ruin Zone Grounder was a red color instead of green. After Sonic 2 he was also seen in Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine as a boss and he was also seen in the cartoon series Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog where he was suppose to be Scratch's identical twin brother, but thanks to Scratch's stupidity and messing around with Dr. Robotnik's machine he turned out different. but supposedly he is Scratch's brother. In the cartoon series he is part of Dr. Robotnik's Super Special Sonic Search and Smash Squad along with Scratch who try to capture Sonic, but are always foiled by their stupidity or by Dr. Robotnik himself.
