I doubt many people stuck with the series long enough to see it to the end.

In fact we really only have information on the first game and two of the three GU games. If you want to fill out the articles, go right ahead.

I really enjoyed the first game.  That's the only one I played of the four.

because the game play that was so great and innovative ran it's course by the end of the third game. People (myself included) were sick of the .hack games by the time the fourth one came out, because by that point all it's flaws were showing.

Because nobody likes .Hack.

I liked the .hack games, but then again, I play MMOs and the sort, so I got some of the point of what they were doing.  Unfortunately, I never had the time to sink into the games, so I never got past the second installment.  Wouldn't mind going back and checking it out though.
